The Final Fantasy Vii: The First Soldier livestream dropped plenty of news, including a airtight beta for the game also every bit an extended final trailer for Last Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and its DLC episode, Episode Intermission. The livestream also revealed some nice tidbits about the previously confirmed sequel to Final Fantasy Vii Remake, including more data apropos its development progression.

Although the livestream didn't directly confirm a release date for the championship, Nomura did reveal that development for the 2nd part is "going smoothly," and that the game will take place directly subsequently Intergrade. Considering the June 2022 release engagement for Intergrade and its DLC, Episode Intermission, we tin mayhap assume that the second affiliate of Remake will release at the earliest in 2022.

Nomura also mentions that Cloud will be running in the wilderness in the sequel and that it will have a "dissimilar temper" from the previous title. The change of stride makes sense, since in the original Final Fantasy Vii, the game changes drastically once the party leaves Midgar and explores the larger world. It'll be quite interesting to run into how the follow-up to Remake handles the more visibly natural environments.

It as well seems that Remake co-managing director Tetsuya Nomura was dying to share news with fans earlier, simply he was apparently told non to by producer Yoshinori Kitase, who stated that they needed clearance from all other departments beginning. It'south interesting to run across Nomura and then passionate about the title, as he won't be returning as a director while remaining as the overall Last Fantasy VII Remake and spin-off creative director.
